Congratulations to Brandon Pence on earning his yellow belt. Brandon has been training hard for well over a year and the promotion is well deserved.
Also congratulations to Anthony Smiley, Cody Dennis, Jordan, Duncan, Noah and McKenna DeVore for earning their 2nd stripe on their white belt.
1/29/2011 - Ultimate Grappler's Challange
Congratulations to Dylan Royce for competing in the UGC. Dylan took home two gold medals and one silver medal in the absolute.
Summer 2010
Head instructor Ricky Royce rounded off the summer with two more impressive tournament showings placing 2nd in the no gi advanced at the Rupture open-160lbs.
Ricky also competed in UGC XV: Summer Slam and placed 2nd in the no gi advanced 160lbs. division and won the 200lbs. and under absolute championship belt.
That brings Ricky's 2010 tournament record to an impressive 16-4.
7/10/2010 - Cherry Hill Challenge 2
Congratulations to Head Instructor Ricky Royce who wont he advanced No-Gi division. Ricky won his first match by rear naked choke and won in the finals by a score of 11-0.
Congratulations to Dylan Royce who won the blue belt division and placed third in the intermediate no-gi.
5/22/2010 - OC Classic Tournament
Congratulations to Ricky and Dylan - 5 Gold Medals!
Ricky Royce
1st place adult advanced no-gi 150-159 lbs.
1st place takedown tournament champion 144-167 lbs.
Dylan Royce
1st place adult intermediate no-gi 150-159 lbs.
1st place adult intermediate absolute division
1st place adult blue belt 150-159 lbs.
Dylan went 7-0 on the day and Ricky went 4-0 for a combined 11-0!
4/17/2010 - UGC 13 Inferno Tournament
Congratulations to the following athletes who competed at UGC 13 Inferno:
Ricky Royce-1st place advanced No-Gi. Ricky won the first match 9-4 and the second match 7-0. 2nd place Absolute 200 lbs. and under.
Dylan Royce-1st place Intermediate No-Gi. Dylan won submitting both opponents.
Matt Coletta-3rd place beginner No-Gi. Matt submitted his first opponent by rear-naked choke.
Congratulations to head instructor Ricky Royce for competing and winning his division at the UGC (Ultimate Grappling Championship) on
January 30th. Ricky entered the advanced no-gi division and took home the first place medal.
Also, congratulations to Dylan Royce, assistant instructor, for medaling in the intermediate no-gi and the adult blue belt division.
